It what might be the craziest redesign in DJI’s product history, the latest leak shows product images of the bundles the Mavic 4 Pro will come with. Included in the “Creator Combo” is a newly designed RC 2 that reminds me a lot of the old Phantom 4 Pro flight controllers from back in the day.
Igor Bogdanov shared the first photos of the RC Pro 2 alongside combo photos of the Mavic 4 Pro. The RC Pro 2 will be drastically different from what we have been accustomed to in recent years.
The 7-inch touchscreen will extend up and away from the body of the controller, similar to what the Phantom controllers had, but obviously less dated. Folding it down will allow the controller to fold up nicely for storage.
Alongside the new screen, the RC Pro 2 will also feature a new dial control that has many folks puzzled as to what it could do. What would make the most sense is the ability to roll the camera, a feature Jasper Ellens leaked a few weeks ago. However, I’m hoping it can be reprogrammed to control apertures or shutter speed. Maybe even the new electronic ND filter can be controlled by it?
It sounds like the Mavic 4 Pro will come in three combos, according to Jasper Ellens:
- Standard Combo with the RC 2 for $2,250
- Fly More Combo with the RC 2 and two batteries for $3,200
- Creator Combo with the RC Pro 2 and two batteries for $4,000

There are still rumors that there will be an even higher-end Mavic 4 Cine; however, we have yet to see any leaked images of that product, which leads me to believe it might not actually be coming.
Was I wrong when I said leaks were about to get interesting? Expect more as the release date for the Mavic 4 Pro approaches.
