Singapore-based Volarious has launched the V-Line Pro, a tethered drone power system tailor-made for the new DJI Matrice 400 (M400), extending flight times and boosting operational uptime for enterprise users. Developed in close collaboration with DJI, the V-Line Pro integrates tightly with the drone’s systems and interface.

Key features of the V-Line Pro include:

• 70-meter aviation-grade tether: That’s roughly the height of a 30-story building.
• Smart tension system: Enables 7 m/s reel speed for smooth ascent and descent, minimizing slack.
• Rapid setup: Weighing under 20kg, the system can be deployed by one person in under 2 minutes.
• Full DJI Pilot 2 integration: Users can view tether kit parameters directly within the interface. The drone’s altitude is automatically limited based on tether length, preventing stress on the cable.

The V-Line Pro’s Advanced Thermal Control uses six sensors and nine fans to monitor and manage system temperature. It’s compatible with DJI Power 1000 and other battery stations, giving users flexibility in powering their missions.
